CFO Services Firm Specializing In Healthcare And Energy
The Healthcare CFO is a subsidiary of The Energy CFO®. The Energy CFO is a CFO Services Firm established in 2013 to help businesses accelerate their growth and take them to the next level by providing access to experienced CFO (Chief Financial Officer) leadership that is not typically available to early and middle-market companies and their investors. Basically, our CFO/Owner wanted to level the playing field for private business owners against corporate giants and open the insider doors for much needed industry disrupters. Very quickly, she also realized there was a need for the firm to expand its SHARED CFO Services to include Interim, Fractional a.k.a. Part-Time, Interim CFO, and finally Virtual CFO Services (2017) that essentially wrap a company’s accounting providers.
In 2015, The Energy CFO® began diversifying into life sciences, biotechnology, and manufacturing-related industries. Since then, we have worked for executives running regenerative medicine, tissue distribution, stem cell manufacturing, distribute medical devices, chemicals, and family physician practices. Today we have a mix of clients - small and large. What we enjoy most is learning about new industries.
As in all journeys, new paths lead to new opportunities. In the summer of 2019, The Energy CFO launched The Healthcare CFO division. It incorporates a carve out of the life sciences and healthcare work from The Energy CFO along with a one-of-a-kind Physician CFO Service we developed at the request of healthcare experts to help address large industry gaps in the financial management of independent physician practices (specifically family physician practices with annual revenues of $2MM to $15MM).

The Healthcare CFO exists to provide specialized CFO Advisory and Business Consulting Services to entrepreneurial thinking organizations in the healthcare, medical practices, life sciences, medical devices, and related products and services providers (verticals) who serve these sectors.
Our MISSION is to help business owners and executives grow strong sustainable businesses so they can focus on helping patients, create more jobs in our local communities, employ the hardworking men and women of this nation, contribute towards state and local tax bases, and ignite that fiercely innovative and ingenious American Spirit within ALL of US.
The Healthcare CFO is passionate about helping entrepreneurs, physician medical practices, family enterprises, and other privately-owned companies who DREAM BIG, want to CHALLENGE the status quo, INNOVATE and BOLDLY DISRUPT markets.

The Healthcare CFO and its parent, The Energy CFO, are one of a small number of women-majority owned cfo and financial consulting companies. Our minority co-owner is a Hispanic bilingual CFO. While we are not WBENC certified (we really have no need to), we are happy to self-certify ownership if in doing so it benefits our client in some way.
The Healthcare CFO is a diverse and inclusive organization. We have a very experienced, dependable, and entrepreneurial workforce who prefers to work as consultants and enjoy fractional assignments. We Work Across Texas and the USA
The Healthcare CFO is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. Our CFO team is made up a remote workforce based across Texas. Beginning in April 2022, we will evaluate on-site service requests and/or travel on a case-by-case basis to clients located in: Houston Metro Area, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin Central Texas, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Midland, and Odessa.
